Dr Lehlohonolo Majake-Mogoba is a diverse Public Health Medicine Specialist that has merged medicine expertise with commercial skills. She is currently a Director Clinical Service of Steve Biko Academic Hospital as well as Acting Hospital CEO. Prior to that she served as a Hospital General Manager, for Mediclinic Heart Hospital having migrated as a Hospital Clinical Manager at Mediclinic Muelmed Hospital.
She has additional qualifications in Aviation Medicine which entails physiological and policy insight for the human body above sea-level. She holds an MMED in Public Health Medicine and is a fellow of the Colledge of Medicine South Africa. Her speciality degree gives her additional skills in biostatistics, health systems analysis, health management, health promotion, health policy, quality assurance in health care, monitoring and evaluation and communicable disease control.
Her previous role in senior management within private sector has given her further insight into business of healthacre .Her current focus at Steve Biko Academic Hospital is to revitalise service delivery in state and has created a niche in hospital management.
