Liezl is a healthcare change leader, critical care nurse and manager with over 20 years’ experience, dedicated to improving the quality-of-service delivery and patient outcomes within the private healthcare sector in South Africa.

Liezl holds a Ph.D in nursing science (clinical), as well as a certificate in Project Management from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. She is a member of the Critical Care Society of SA, and Board member of the South African Society for Quality (SASQ).

Liezl currently represents Lenmed Health as Nursing Practice Manager with a specific focus on nursing and clinical risk management, compliance, and the implementation of large-scale quality improvement programmes.

Liezl enjoys Sci-Fi movies and is a huge Star Trek TNG fan.
